HTS Radar

Terms of Service

Effective 6 November 2026 · HTS Radar (htsradar.com)

What this service is

HTS Radar is a lookup and monitoring service for U.S. importers. You can look up HTS codes and the duties that apply to them, estimate import duties and landed costs with our calculators, and watch HTS code × country-of-origin combinations for tariff changes. Watching one pair is free. Paid monitoring (“Pro”) is currently in a founding-reserve stage: you can join the founding list and reserve pairs now, free of charge; the paid service starts when it launches.

Estimates only — not a customs ruling

Every rate, total and dollar figure on this site is an estimate built from official public data. It is not a customs ruling, not brokerage, and not legal, tax or customs advice. U.S. Customs and Border Protection decides the classification and the final duty on your actual goods. For anything that matters, confirm with CBP or your customs broker — see how we calculate for exactly what goes into a number here, and what never does.

Free code watches

The free watch works by email confirmation: you give us an email address and one code × origin pair, we send a confirmation email, and the watch starts when you click the link in it. Every watch email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops the emails.

The founding offer

Joining the founding list costs nothing and charges nothing: no payment today — we'll email you when founding checkout opens. If Pro never launches, nothing was ever charged. When founding checkout opens, the founding prepay is $29, once: a one-time payment for your first year of Pro (up to 25 code × origin pairs). Your first year of Pro starts when the paid service launches. And the promise on the Monitor page stands: if monitoring does not launch, the prepay is refunded in full, automatically — no forms, no chasing.

Acceptable use

Use the site for your own importing business. Please don't scrape the site in bulk, overload it, or resell the data it shows. Reasonable automated use for your own business — for example, checking codes inside your own systems — is fine. We may suspend or end access for accounts that abuse the service.

Data and accuracy

Our numbers come from official U.S. sources — USITC, USTR, the Federal Register, CBP, the U.S. Department of Commerce and DHS (see official sources). Official data can contain errors and can change without notice; we are not responsible for errors in the official sources themselves. When we spot one — or you point one out — we fix our copy and record it in the change log.

Our liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything connected with this service is limited to the amount you have paid us for it. We are not liable for duties, penalties or losses that follow from relying on an estimate — final duty is always CBP's decision on the actual goods.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will announce it on this site and email people with active watches or founding reservations. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
