Landed cost calculator — what a shipment really costs, all in

Duty calculators stop at what you owe Customs. This one keeps going: the goods, the freight that moves them, the insurance, the duties and the customs fees — one total, with the tax part pulled out on its own line so you can see how much of your cost is government and how much is product.

What gets added up: the customs value of the goods, international freight and insurance, every import-duty layer that applies, plus the MPF and HMF customs fees. Duty and fees are charged on the customs value only — the U.S. does not tax your international freight or insurance. Not included: customs broker fees, delivery inside the U.S. after the port, warehousing, and state taxes. Just want what you owe Customs? Use the duty calculator.

Step 1 · What are you importing?Type the 8–10 digit HTS code from your shipping paperwork.

Don't know the code? Find it by product name first — guessing a code is how shipments get reclassified.

Step 2 · Where is it from? The country where the goods were made.

Origin means where the goods were made, not where they ship from.

Step 3 · Value, freight & shippingWhat the goods are worth, when they arrive, how they ship — plus the freight and insurance.

What the goods themselves cost — your supplier's price for the goods. Duty is charged on this amount, not on the freight or insurance below.
